Fittings are friendly at SewJo. I want you to feel at home and lazed in my private work space and fitting area.

Bring with you your shoes you’d typically wear with trousers if you are having them shortened, your occasion shoes if it’s for special occasion and ladies wear good fitting bra or the foundation garments you are wearing for the occasion.

Please understand these are all vitally important and if you don’t bring them I won’t be able to proceed with the fitting and you may be charged and need to rebook. I absolutely don’t want this to happen to you.

During the fitting we discussed aspects of your posture, body you want to hide or accentuate and how you want to wear your garment I’ll make suggestions and demonstrate the best fit achievable and when you are happy I’ll give you a price.

Payment is required on the day in advance I’d work starting on your garment.

I may book a second fitting if needed.

Once the work is complete I’ll book you in to come back and try on and collect your garments. Any further seams are usually covered in the initial quote unless your weight has changed in which case you will likely be charged for the extra work.
